Before Building an Academy Store, Organize Products and Photos

If you run an academy and are creating your first store, start with product details, prices and options, photos, and shipping arrangements. Use this checklist and the clearly hypothetical example to prepare before editing a no-code site.

First, put what you plan to sell on one sheet

If your academy plans to sell textbooks, supplies, or online learning materials, settling the product information before designing pages can make the work more efficient. For each item, record its name, a one-line description, price, and whether it is available for sale. If buyers can choose options, list the option names and choices. Decide whether you will manage inventory directly or prepare items after an order comes in. If details change often, also decide who will update them and when.

  • Product name and the features buyers need to know
  • Price, differences between options, and inventory or fulfillment method
  • Areas served, shipping method, and expected processing time
  • Contact method for questions and the hours when you respond

Check that photos are usable, not just attractive

Collect a main photo for each product and any additional images you need. Name files so you can tell which product each one belongs to. Check that each photo matches what you will actually sell and that text or important details are not cropped out. If you do not have photos yet, make a list of what to photograph and which views you need. Confirm that you have permission to use images or materials created by someone else. You do not have to delay all site work until every image is ready, but keep temporary images clearly separate from final product photos.

Hypothetical example: Hanbit Academy’s textbook set

This is a fictional preparation example. Hanbit Academy decides to sell a textbook set and writes down its name, contents, and price. It offers two options, “Basic” and “With supplementary materials,” and describes each option’s contents and price difference so buyers can compare them. The academy prepares a photo of the textbook cover and another showing the set’s contents, then records that orders will be shipped after they are received and notes the processing schedule. Payment and shipping settings must be connected and checked on the actual site separately; a test order can help verify the flow. This example does not promise any particular operating arrangement or result.

Choose a tool, then check the real purchase flow

TalkTalkMySite offers no-code templates, AI chat, and visual editing, so you can get started without coding or design experience. However, the owner is responsible for reviewing and correcting the content, page layout, and business details. Basic is for a website, Standard for a store, and Premium for multilingual use; choose according to the scope you need. Payments, social login, domains, and shipping each require setup.

  • Put the checklist above into a table by product and mark missing details.
  • Add one representative product first and review its display and purchase flow.
  • Check that its price, options, photos, and contact details match how the business actually operates.
  • Test payment and shipping settings, and decide who will make updates and when.

No-code tools do not guarantee search rankings or sales, and they do not mean unlimited free use or error-free creation. Your next step is to complete the information for one product and check which plan and setup items match the features you need.
