B2B Manufacturer Website Creation: An FAQ Readiness Checklist
You can get started without coding experience, but a manufacturer website’s credibility and inquiry quality depend on information you verify. Prepare FAQs and check these items before building.

Decide what the site needs to do
A B2B manufacturer website should do more than list company details: it should help visitors understand your products and terms, then send an appropriate inquiry. Choose the main goal first. If the priority is introducing your company and products and receiving inquiries, consider the Basic website option. If you intend to sell products online, check whether Standard, which includes a store, fits your sales process. If you need to serve customers in multiple languages, review Premium. Choose based on how you actually sell and which languages you need, not just on a feature name.
Gather materials before building
Coding or design experience is not required to get started. TalkTalkMySite offers no-code templates, AI chat, and visual editing to help you create a draft, but you are responsible for checking the content, page layout, and business information.
- Gather your company name, contact details, business location, and the person who will handle inquiries.
- For each main product, collect its use, specifications, order unit, customization options, and the details needed to request a quote.
- Prepare factual descriptions of your processes, quality control, and delivery sectors, along with photos you have permission to use.
- List common questions about lead times, minimum order quantities, samples, packaging, and shipping. Confirm internally what you can answer and under what conditions.
- Draft product, company, and FAQ copy. Leave out outdated figures and promises that have not been confirmed.
Review FAQs and setup together
An FAQ does not eliminate inquiries. It gives visitors basic information first, so conversations can become more specific. Group questions under products, orders and quotes, and production and delivery. Include applicable conditions or explain when additional information is needed. For example, in response to “Can you make custom specifications?”, avoid an unconditional yes or no; say which drawings, quantities, or material details are needed for review. Keep the inquiry form focused on the information visitors need to provide.
Payments, social login, domain connection, and shipping require setup; they do not happen automatically. If you plan to use any of them, prepare the relevant accounts, connection details, and operating conditions, then test the setup before launch. If your site is for inquiries rather than online sales, there is no need to rush into payment setup you do not need.
Pre-launch checklist and next step
- [ ] Check product names, specifications, contact details, and company information for accuracy and currency.
- [ ] Make sure visitors can find products, FAQs, and contact options from the navigation.
- [ ] Check that text and buttons are readable and usable on a phone.
- [ ] Test the form and any setup you use, such as payment, login, domain connection, or shipping.
- [ ] Make sure unconfirmed lead times, stock, certifications, or performance are not presented as guarantees.
Hypothetical example: Assume “Hanbit Precision” makes industrial brackets. For its first launch, it clearly presents the main product specifications, the information needed to review drawings, a quote inquiry route, and minimum order conditions. Its FAQ explains what materials are used to assess whether custom machining is possible. This is an illustration, not a claim about any real company’s terms. After launch, record incoming questions and update the FAQs and pages. Search rankings and sales are not guaranteed, and no-code creation does not guarantee zero mistakes. The next step is to gather questions from the person handling inquiries and use them to finalize the first-page structure and required setup.
