A domain is the address visitors use to reach your site. Search for a name, confirm availability, and handle registration and connection as separate steps. Search results alone do not guarantee successful registration.

Review ownership and renewal details

Know who controls the registration and where renewal dates and costs are recorded. Initial and renewal prices can differ. Domain fees are separate from the TalkTalkMySite subscription.

Confirm registration after payment

The current domain-payment flow supports registration assistance. Payment approval does not automatically complete a purchase at the registrar. Confirm the registration result and expiry date before connecting the site. If a name cannot be registered, review the order status and the operator’s instructions.

Use the DNS values shown for your site

Select the correct site and copy its provided DNS records. Preserve records used by an existing email service. DNS changes may take time to appear, so check both the connection test and the actual address. Avoid copying example records from an unrelated service.
