Fashion Brand AI Edits: From Small Changes to Final Review
Learn how to avoid asking AI to overhaul an entire fashion site at once. Define the scope, request one change at a time, compare the result, and review the page before publishing.
If you ask AI to change an entire site at once, it can be difficult to tell what changed, and wording or layouts you wanted to keep may be altered too. For a first-time operator, a safer approach is to preserve the current version and make requests one goal at a time. Follow the steps below to check each change while protecting product details and your brand’s look and feel.
1. Record the current state before editing
First choose the page and section you want to change. For example, decide whether you are editing the top of a product detail page, its material description, or its size table. Copy the current text or save a screen capture so you can compare versions if the result feels wrong.
- Write down the page name and the section to edit.
- Specify what must stay unchanged. For example: do not change the product name, price, or material details.
- State the desired outcome in one sentence. For example: make the jacket’s silhouette and fabric features clearer in the opening section.
**Hypothetical example:** Instead of saying, “Improve the spring jacket product page,” say, “Revise only the opening description. Keep the cotton-blend fabric and relaxed fit accurate, and do not change the price or shipping text.”
2. Split the request into one change at a time
Do not combine copy, images, and layout in a single request. Edit the copy first, save it, and review it. Then consider images or placement separately. This makes it easier to identify the cause of a problem. TalkTalkMySite supports AI chat and visual editing, so you can describe the scope in chat or select a section on screen to work on it.
- Keep each request to one page, one section, and one type of change.
- Specify the voice and length. For example: a calm tone, no more than two sentences.
- Provide the product facts AI should use, so it does not need to invent them.
**Hypothetical example:** Instead of asking, “Rewrite the whole product description,” say, “Condense only the text under the material heading into two sentences. Use only the provided information—70% cotton and 30% nylon—and do not add care instructions.”
3. Compare the result with the original
Review AI output yourself before publishing. Even if the wording sounds polished, do not use it unchanged if it alters a fabric blend, color name, size, or stock-related statement. Check that content outside the requested section was not changed, and compare the before and after versions.
- Confirm that factual details such as the product name, price, materials, and sizes match the source.
- Read the copy to check that its tone and length fit your brand.
- If the result goes beyond the requested scope, revert that part and make the next request narrower.
Save only the one change you have reviewed, then move to the next task. If you do not like the result, avoid piling on increasingly complex instructions. Instead, separate what should remain from what should change and make a more precise request. AI output is not guaranteed to be error-free or to produce business results.
4. Handle images and design in a separate stage
Once the copy is settled, adjust images and layout. You can search licensed stock images and videos, but you still need to decide whether a selected asset suits your brand and product. Avoid images that make the real product’s color or fit look different, and check that the important parts of the product remain visible on mobile.
- Confirm that each image represents the actual product accurately.
- Check cropping, focal points, and text contrast on both desktop and mobile.
- When changing fonts, compare readability using the live previews for the six available OFL Korean fonts.
TalkTalkMySite’s hero slider supports up to five images. You do not need to fill every slot: decide what each image should communicate, and leave out scenes that serve no purpose. After changing an image, check again that the text remains readable over it.
5. Review search settings and the published page
Review AI edits and search settings separately. Basic SEO is shared across the site, while Standard supports per-page SEO. Check that each title and description matches the relevant page; do not assume that a particular search ranking or increase in visits is guaranteed. HEAD meta tags work on published sites, and custom scripts run only on connected customer domains.
- Open the saved page as a visitor would and confirm that the copy and images appear as intended.
- Check links, mobile layout, prices, and product details.
- Make sure the search title and description accurately describe that page.
**Next action:** Choose one product page to edit today. Write down three facts to preserve and one element to change, then request only that change from AI. Compare the result with the original, save it if it checks out, and only then move on to the next edit.
