Editing a Flower and Plant Site with Small AI Requests: A Practical First Workflow

A first-time site operator can avoid handing an entire page to AI at once. This guide breaks editing into separate, reviewable requests for copy, layout, and visuals, using a flower and plant page example.

If you ask AI, “Make my flower shop look good,” all at once, it can be hard to tell what changed. If the result includes wording or a layout you did not want, it may also be difficult to identify why. For a first edit, define the page’s purpose, change one type of thing at a time, and review the result at every step. TalkTalkMySite supports AI chat and visual editing, but it does not guarantee that every result will match your intent or be error-free.

1. Choose the page and define the goal before editing

Pick one page to work on. For a plant product page, for example, define the goal in terms of a visitor’s action: “Make care instructions and delivery information easy to find.” Check whether the existing product information is accurate and note what feels inconvenient. Saving the original copy or recording the current screen makes comparison easier.

  • Choose one page and one main action you want visitors to take.
  • Separate elements that may change from facts that must remain unchanged. For example, you may shorten a sentence, but do not change the plant name, pot size, or care conditions without verification.
  • Gather the actual product details AI will need so it does not have to invent missing information.

2. Limit the first request to one piece of copy

Do not ask AI to rewrite the whole page in the first request. Specify one piece of copy to improve first. For example: “Rewrite only the care instructions for this monstera so a beginner can understand them. Use only the light and watering conditions I provide, and do not add information you do not know.” Read the result, check its facts and tone, and apply only the wording you approve.

  • Name the specific copy and the intended reader.
  • State both the information to preserve and what must not be added.
  • Compare the plant name, measurements, and care conditions in the result against the original.

**Hypothetical example:** Suppose an operator asks only for wording “that beginners can understand,” and AI adds a watering schedule that was never provided. Do not publish that sentence. First verify the real care guidance, then request a revision using only accurate information.

3. Adjust layout and visuals only after the copy is approved

Once the wording has been checked, work on layout elements such as headings, the order of information, or buttons. Set clear boundaries: “Place the care instructions below the product name, followed by delivery information. Keep the product name and price unchanged.” In visual editing, do not change several things at once. Choose one area—such as the image, spacing, or order of emphasis—and compare the result with the previous version.

  • Identify the location to change and the elements that must stay as they are.
  • Check that a photo showing flower color or leaf condition matches the product being sold.
  • If an image changes, review its crop and the placement of its focal point as well.

You can use the available licensed stock image and video search when you need visuals. Do not assume search results accurately depict the product you sell; check whether a stock visual is appropriate as a substitute for a product photo. Review the edited page on both desktop and mobile screens.

4. When repeating a request, fix only one problem

If the result feels awkward, do not say, “Redo everything.” Point to the specific sentence or element that needs attention. For instance: “Make only the second sentence sound warmer; keep the care conditions and paragraph order unchanged.” Compare before and after applying the change. If it does not improve the page, revert it or edit it yourself. AI suggestions are items to review; they do not automatically become accurate product information.

  • Describe the problem you noticed in one sentence.
  • State separately what should change and what should remain.
  • After editing, recheck factual accuracy, readability, and the mobile display.

5. Review before publishing and choose the next task

Before publishing, check that the product name matches the description, care details are accurate, delivery information is clear, and images and buttons work as intended. Also check line breaks on mobile. TalkTalkMySite offers six OFL Korean fonts with live previews, so you can compare them one at a time if changing the font is relevant to your current goal. Do not add a font change unless it helps with the issue you are addressing.

Check the available scope before changing search settings. Basic supports shared SEO; Standard supports per-page SEO and stores; Premium supports multilingual stores. HEAD meta tags work on published sites, while custom scripts run only on connected customer domains. These settings do not guarantee search rankings, visitor numbers, or revenue.

  • Read the final page on desktop and mobile, and test its links and buttons.
  • Check that no AI-generated content contradicts the actual product information.
  • Record today’s editing goal, then choose just the biggest remaining issue for the next session.

For your next task, mark the single most confusing sentence on the current page. Write down the facts that must stay and the wording you want, request a revision of that sentence only, and review it yourself before applying it. That is a safer first editing workflow.
