Rebuilding an Existing Website Without Code: Organize Its URLs and Content First

Before making a new site, list your current URLs, page content, and business details. A labeled fictional pottery-studio example shows what to revise and what to verify.

When rebuilding an existing website with a no-code tool, start by deciding what to move and what to change—not by choosing a template. Copying every page as-is can carry outdated business information and confusing navigation into the new site. No-code tools let you get started without coding or design experience, but the owner is still responsible for checking the content, layout, and business details.

1. Start with URLs and a page inventory

Write down your current website address and menu pages. Mark each page “keep,” “revise,” “remove,” or “write new.” If you use multiple addresses, check which one you give to customers, who can manage the domain, and where the other addresses lead. If page URLs will change, people arriving through old links may not find what they need. Review the changed addresses along with any printed or online materials that mention them.

Gather your logo and photos, copy for each page, contact details, opening hours, location, inquiry instructions, and product information. Check whether you have permission to use the images, and verify details that change often, such as prices and stock. If something is not confirmed, label it “needs verification” rather than filling it in with a guess.

2. Labeled hypothetical example: a neighborhood pottery studio

**Before:** “Heukdam Studio” had About, Classes, Products, and Contact pages. However, its class schedule was old, product photos were small, and the contact page listed only an email account that was slow to receive replies. Product sales and class booking were mixed together, making it hard for visitors to choose what to do next.

**After:** The About page showed the studio’s location and hours. The Classes page presented the current schedule and how to apply. The Products page featured representative items and explained how to check prices and stock. The Contact page listed verified ways to get in touch and the expected response time. The old class schedule and unused email address were removed. This is a fictional example for illustration; the studio would need to verify its own operating details.

3. Separate the site format from the setup work

TalkTalkMySite offers no-code templates, AI chat, and visual editing. You do not need coding or design experience to begin, but do not assume AI-generated text or automatic placement is accurate. Review the page order and mobile layout, then compare the business name, address, contact information, prices, and application instructions against verified sources.

Basic is for a website, Standard is for a store, and Premium is for a multilingual site. If you plan to sell products, first decide whether a store setup is appropriate. Payments, social login, domains, and shipping require setup. Do not assume a feature is ready to use just because it is relevant to your plan; confirm which settings you need and what information you must provide.

4. Pre-publication checklist and next step

  • [ ] I have listed which pages to keep, revise, remove, or create, and noted any new URLs.
  • [ ] I have checked contact details, hours, product information, and images against current materials.
  • [ ] I have reviewed the menu and key instructions on both computer and phone screens.
  • [ ] If I will sell products, I have checked payment and shipping setup and the order instructions.
  • [ ] I have assigned someone to recheck links, wording, and inquiry delivery after launch.

Building with no-code does not guarantee search rankings or sales, unlimited free use, or a result with no mistakes. The next step is to put your current pages and URLs into a table and mark each one keep, revise, or remove. Use that inventory to decide what type of site you need and which materials to prepare before you begin building.
