Make the most of ten saved versions
Save meaningful recovery points rather than every small change. Understand the different roles of draft saving, saved versions, and public publishing.
TalkTalkMySite retains up to ten manual saved versions. Use them as meaningful recovery points. Distinguish a saved draft from an additional version appearing in the version list.
Save at milestones
Useful moments include finishing the first layout, preparing for a major template change, reorganizing navigation, and getting ready to publish. You do not need a new version for every button color adjustment.

Inspect before removing a version
Preview a saved version before deciding to delete it. Keep a useful recovery point close to the current site and remove versions you are certain you no longer need. Numbers alone are not enough to identify the right design state.
Verify restoration and publication separately
After restoring, check menus, links, and recent wording. Restoring a design should not be treated as reversing separate product records or payment history. Inspect the restored draft in preview and publish when you want the public site to reflect it.
