A checkout screen is not a verified payment
A visible payment button is not proof that an order has been paid. Check the seller connection, test mode, approval, cancellation, and order status in sequence.
Finishing a store design does not complete payment setup. The platform’s subscription payments and a store customer’s order payments are separate flows. Each store uses its seller’s PortOne connection.
Prepare the seller’s test environment
Check the required payment-provider agreement and PortOne settings. Selecting a test mode in the application does not turn a live channel into a test channel. Verify that the channel type and application mode match.

Test interruptions as well as success
Place a test order and complete checkout. Also cancel or close the payment window and confirm that the order is not marked paid. If a response is delayed, check the existing order’s payment status before trying another payment.
Check operations after approval
Test transactions should not be treated as real revenue or delivery work. Before live selling, verify that payment confirmation, order processing, and cancellation states agree. Keep payment secrets out of customer-facing pages and articles; manage them only through the connection settings.
